About Jonesy

Sarah Margaret Jones (AKA Jonesy) is an artist with an international background and specialization in arts education.

Sarah attended college at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, with a major in art history and a minor in psychology. After graduating in 2003, Jonesy moved to Chicago, where she attended DePaul University and received her M.Ed in Education, specializing in visual arts.

After teaching art in Chicago for five years, her longing for adventure took her to Dubai, where she taught art in an IB school. In 2016, she moved to Amsterdam to reside in the cultural epicenter of art and to teach at the International School of Amsterdam.

Jonesy still lives in Amsterdam and continues to travel the world, instructing individuals and small groups and sharing her passion for all things art related.
